Ace Construction Etc. has been finishing basements and remodeling homes since 1989.  Basements have bee a large focus for our company so in 1996 we registered a DBA - Basements Etc .  We use this name for marketing purposes and name recognition. We hold a B-100 Utah General Contractors License issue by the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Our License # is 329954-5501. Utah State law requires us to carry appropriate General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. We have seen many attempts by non-licensed contractors to appear legitimate. Keep in mind there is a difference between a business license, or even a licensed sub-contractor and a B-100 General Contractors License. Anyone can pay a small fee and register a business name. You can verify online at www.dopl.utah.gov if someone has a current license and what type of license. You need someone with at least a R-100 or B-100.  R-100 license is for residential work only, where a B-100 allows for Commercial & Residential. We know the local codes and regulations and will oversee and ensure proper construction. We will make sure your local regulating entities perform required inspections giving you assurance and peace of mind that all work was done correctly.  This will also protect your investment with your insurance company.
